Nirit Levav (1963 - ): A graduate of the the Parsons School of Design in New York, she began her career designing wedding gowns. With a desire to create something else, Levav began working with jewelry, ceramic and iron sculpting in her father's work shop that was often visited by renowned artists. This is where her create process began to take form, with a focus on experimenting with different materials to expand her imagination. This is seen through her works, as she is able to construct sculptures of almost anything, with recycled objects. in 2010 she asked a bicycle shop for its junk, and with a box of chains she began creating a series of dogs.
