John Morris (1920 - 1991): An American born artist, who is honored with having one of his works in the Vatican. His career began at the age of 15 when he began painting portraits at the local fair. Even at such a tender age, Morris took a mature approach, focusing on the being rather than just one's appearance. It was a trait of his paintings, like Pissarro and Monet, that he would go on to perfect while traveling and studying throughout France.
