Scott Moore (1953 -): An American born artist that typically depicts historical scenes and landscapes through his paintings. His parents were both artist so it was clear from an early age, that he would follow in their footsteps. Moore went on to the Maine College of Art and Portland School of Art where they focused on abstract expressionism. However, Moore was inspired by French Impressionism, like Hopper, and choose to study similar masters. He went on to teach at the Farnsworth Museum and today his painting are enjoyed across the globe by critics and collectors alike.
