Craig Bone (1955 - ) An African born wildlife painter who studied at Natal University in South Africa. In 1973 while serving in the Rhodesian army he was painting vivid images from the field of battle and consequently was his hit by a mortar that almost cost him both his legs. He now uses his artworks to raise money for other wounded soldiers, including over $100,000.00 for Safari Club International Veterans Committee. Today these works are admired by critics and collectors alike as they are exhibited in many renowned collections across the globe, like the Pentagon.
