A beautiful pair of Chinese hexagonal plant stands or side tables, likely made of Huali (rosewood). The tops are exquisitely decorated with intricate mother-of-pearl (shell) inlay, depicting a lively scene of birds perched on flowering plum blossom branches. The stands feature a decorative, openwork apron with a scalloped edge, supported by elegant cabriole legs that connect to a matching hexagonal base. A sophisticated pair for displaying plants, vases, or as accent tables.
