The artwork here, "Flowers by the Sea Original", is an alluring depiction of wild blossoms, that is saturated with exquisite detail throughout, making it one of the nicest drawings by Wyeth we have ever made available. Furthermore, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, measuring approximately 7.5" x 9" and 21.5" x 23.5" with a high-quality frame made specifically for this painting. Finally, it has remained in excellent condition since it was completed by Wyeth in October of 1990, is hand-signed in the lower right corner, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity as well as a copy of the letter from the woman who received it from Wyeth. The two attended a party hosted by Barbara Bush at the Brandywine River Museum of Art. Wyeth became infatuated with the woman during the event and wished to paint her nude, she politely declined, but he gave her this drawing as a token of his affection.
