Romain de Tirtoff, aka Erte, Authentic & Original pair of gouache paintings on paper, saturated with bold color, intricate detail, passionate expression and listed with the Submit Best Offer option. Furthermore, the immaculate set is of impressive craftsmanship and versatile size, measuring approximately 14.5" x 10.5" (archival matted to14" x 10") and 13.5" x 11" (archival matted to 13" x 9") respectively and each 22" x 18" with the frame constructed specifically for individual painting. Additionally, Erte's most desired images are dynamic illustrations of costume and fashion designs. Like the one here, "Influence Directoire & La Ciboulette", featuring the exquisite portrait of an alluring woman in an elegant ensemble with a flowing train and a man in his handsomely tailored tuxedo, which combines his most coveted subjects, and finest talents. Giving the viewer fabulous insight into Erte's full realm of captivating genius and why he is considered an Art Deco master. Finally, each has remained in excellent condition since it was painted (1937 & 1942), is hand signed in the lower right corner, referenced by Erte's studio as N.3732 and J.76616, were originally purchased from Merrill Chase Galleries and come with a Gallery COA, thus it is likely to sell quickly.
