Vintage Gucci figural stirrup cup featuring a highly detailed wild boar head with an expressive open mouth, prominent tusks, raised ears and deeply textured fur. The sculptural head has an antiqued silver-tone finish that accentuates the casting, paired with a polished silver-tone cup and contrasting warm gold-tone interior.
The piece is signed GUCCI around the base of the boar head. Designed in the tradition of classic European sporting and hunting stirrup cups, the vessel is displayed inverted upon the animal head when not in use.
An especially characterful piece of vintage Gucci barware and a striking decorative collectible for a bar, library, study or equestrian-inspired interior. It also displays beautifully alongside the other Gucci animal-head stirrup cups from the series.
