The oval mirror plate is framed by a hand-set ring of individually cut mirror insets in a scalloped pattern, bordered by radiating gilded rays. Crafted in the traditional manner of carved wood and gesso finished in gold leaf, it carries a rich patina true to its age and an inventory mark on the reverse noting its Peruvian origin. Measuring 39" x 33", it's a bold statement piece for an entry, powder room, or gallery wall;. There are a few small chips (and repaired pieces), not highly noticeable when hung. See less
