The grain of stone, the veins of a leaf: nature's quiet architecture, rendered in wool.
Soft, lighter lines branch across a rich taupe field, following a central axis before splitting, crossing, and fanning out toward the edges. The effect recalls the veining of marble, the ribs of a leaf, or riverbeds seen from above. Tonal variations deepen toward the top and soften toward the base, giving the surface a gentle, shifting depth. Entirely monochromatic, the design relies on texture and line rather than contrast, and it rewards a closer look.
This is a rug for interiors that embrace warmth and tonal layering. Its earthy, grounding hue suits modern organic, wabi-sabi, Japandi, and rustic contemporary spaces, and it pairs beautifully with oak, travertine, clay, linen, and bouclé. It can bring depth to a pale room or blend seamlessly into a warm, tone-on-tone scheme.
Hand-knotted from 100% natural wool, it features a dense, plush pile with a soft hand and a heathered surface that catches the light differently throughout the day. At 9'11" x 7'1", it is ideally sized for a living room seating area, beneath a dining table for six, or to frame a queen or king bed.
For interiors that are warm, grounded, and effortlessly understated.
