distinctive vintage Gucci stirrup cup featuring a beautifully modeled hound dog head with finely rendered fur, facial features, and long ears. The sculptural animal-form handle is marked GUCCI around the collar.
The cup has a classic tapered form with a rolled rim and is designed to stand inverted on the dog’s head, following the traditional form of English sporting and equestrian stirrup cups.
A wonderful Gucci collectible that works equally well as a barware accent, equestrian collectible, or decorative object. Its understated silver-tone finish and detailed hound motif make it particularly attractive for a library, bar, study, or traditional-to-eclectic interior.
