A striking vintage LaBarge wall mirror featuring an elaborate Chinese Chippendale-inspired pagoda form with beautifully carved scrollwork, pierced detailing, and architectural ornamentation throughout.
The richly finished carved wood frame has a warm bronze-brown tone that highlights the depth of the design and gives the piece a wonderfully collected, sophisticated presence. The dramatic pagoda crest, openwork sides, and sculptural lower cartouche create a classic chinoiserie look with strong Hollywood Regency appeal.
The original LaBarge label remains intact on the reverse, confirming the maker.
A substantial statement piece, this mirror would be beautiful above a console or chest, in an entryway, dining room, bedroom, or layered into a traditional, grandmillennial, English country, or chinoiserie-inspired interior.
