Several cups have visible bruising and some distortion to the bowls and rims, as clearly shown in the photographs. There are surface scratches, scuffs, small marks and general wear throughout. The gilt interiors exhibit scratching and varying degrees of wear. Rims are not perfectly round on some examples. Please examine all photographs carefully; they are an important part of the condition description. Despite the condition issues, this is an attractive surviving matching set of six early American sterling silver sherbet cups by a documented Newark silversmith. less
