Handcrafted in Italy, the cylindrical ceramic base features Gambone’s signature highly tactile, thick eruptive glaze technique in vibrant mottled shades of deep cobalt, sea blue, and soft cream highlights. A vertical accent column of raised, incised diamond motifs runs down the front, showing a stylized volcanic texture typical of high-end mid-century Italian art pottery. The ceramic body transitions beautifully into a patinated brass-tone neck neck and single light socket fitment. This rare, sculptural lighting piece brings a sophisticated pop of color and rich mid-century artistic provenance to contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, or credenzas. See less
