The William Guerin Limoges France gravy/sauce boat is made of ivory porcelain, oval-shaped and features a gilt bordered design with a glossy finish. A superb and rare rocaille-style sauce boat. Shaped like a seashell with a fish-shaped handle. Also depicts two fish in a rocaille relief design on the body of the shell-shaped boat, a hand-painted pond at the front, and gilding. It includes a handled boat and attached underplate. Maker’s mark on the reverse. This antique piece showcases French style with a classic design, making it a beautiful addition to any holiday table. Very fine craftsmanship.
