A charming vintage metal jardinière / cachepot with an elongated trough silhouette, ornate embossed detailing, and decorative ring handles at either end.
The piece features a softly distressed ivory, muted gold, and reddish-brown finish with a darkened interior. Raised botanical and scrolling motifs decorate the upper rim and sides, while the twisted-look border and dotted lower edge add wonderful dimensional texture. The ring handles give the piece an especially decorative, old-world character.
Beautiful styled with a potted plant or preserved botanicals, and equally useful as a decorative cachepot, centerpiece, or vessel for displaying greenery. Its elongated shape would also work beautifully on a console, dining table, entryway, or mantel.
Made in China. No maker's mark identified beyond the original country-of-origin sticker.
