A striking Chinese porcelain brush pot (bitong) featuring a creamy, all-over crackle glaze. The cylindrical vessel is hand-painted with a vivid Cultural Revolution-era scene of a female postal worker riding a bicycle, carrying a green mailbox marked "邮政" (Postal Service) and publications including the "Red Flag" magazine. The reverse side features red calligraphy of a quote from Chairman Mao's Little Red Book, alongside the phrase "送《红旗》杂志下乡" (Delivering 'Red Flag' Magazine to the Countryside). The base bears a red "People's Commune" mark dated 1970, with a apocryphal Guangxu reign mark also visible on the upper rim. A historically significant and highly collectible piece of Chinese political memorabilia.
