Elegant vintage two-light candelabra table lamp in the Louis XVI and French Neoclassical style with its vintage oval fringed shade.
The ornate gilt metal base features a fluted central column, scrolling foliate arms and classical acanthus detailing, complemented by a large mustard-gold textile shade with decorative braid and fringe. The warm gilt finish has an attractive aged character, with darker recessed areas emphasizing the sculptural ornamentation.
The upper central rod can be unscrewed for safer shipping and easily reattached upon arrival. Unmarked; maker and precise origin unknown.
Light bulbs are not included.

Good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use. The gilt metal finish shows areas of patina, spotting, oxidation, discoloration and surface wear, including small areas of finish loss revealing the underlying metal. The vintage textile shade also shows age-related wear; please refer closely to the photographs for its fabric, trim and fringe. The lamp has been tested and is working, with both light fittings functioning. Light bulbs are not included. It retains vintage electrical components and wiring, which are sold in their current condition. As with any vintage electrical item, inspection by a qualified electrician is recommended before use, particularly if used in a country with different electrical standards.
