Titled Amantes (Lovers) and completed in 1992 at his studio in Altea, Spain, this oil on canvas stands out with its pristine contours and seamless color gradients.

The piece depicts two highly stylized, abstract interlocking figures rendered in soft, volumetric tones of blush pink, lavender, and muted blues. They are beautifully anchored by a bold, segmented primary-colored ring and balanced against a sharp, minimalist backdrop of stark white and deep forest green. Labad's exceptional mastery of smooth gradients gives the composition an undeniable sculptural, three-dimensional presence on the wall.
