This highly collectible two-piece ensemble includes the iconic double-sided wicker picnic basket shaped like a giant watermelon slice, complete with its original matching vinyl tablecloth. Finding this oversized basket with its coordinating textile intact is exceptionally rare, making it the perfect statement piece for retro collectors, boho patios, or high-style summer outings.The basket features a vibrant red-woven body accented with hand-painted black "seeds," a crisp white rind detail, and sturdy emerald green woven handles. Consistent with its age and authentic vintage journey, it has a few minor flaws which do not impact its display or use:Lid: Missing one small wicker loop latch on the top lid. The double lids still sit flush and close securely.Base: Very light, minor paint fading on the bottom of the woven feet (completely hidden when upright).Tablecloth: Bright graphic top. The white underside/reverse side of the vinyl tablecloth shows some light age-related staining/shadowing that is entirely invisible when spread on a table.Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the visual description.
