An elegant vintage brass fireplace ensemble offering a beautifully coordinated hearth presentation. The grouping includes a three-panel folding fireplace screen with fine black mesh and polished brass framing, a pair of substantial brass ball-form andirons with iron supports, and a coordinating brass fireplace tool stand with three tools.
The folding screen features a tall architectural silhouette with brass ball finials and decorative brass detailing. Its hinged side panels allow the screen to be positioned at approximately 32 inches wide as shown, or opened flat to approximately 51 inches wide, making it adaptable to a variety of fireplace openings.
The pair of andirons features classic spherical brass fronts set on sturdy iron supports. Completing the ensemble is a tall brass stand with three fireplace tools: brush, shovel, and poker.
A handsome and substantial grouping for a traditional, English country, Federal, Georgian, or collected interior. Particularly attractive displayed together as shown.
Dimensions:
Fireplace screen: 34"H × approximately 51"W fully extended; approximately 32"W positioned as shown. Center panel measures 25"W; each hinged side panel measures approximately 13"W.
Andirons: approximately 17"H × 16"D each, measured from the front brass ball to the rear of the iron support.
Fireplace tool stand: 30"H × 9"W × 6.5"D.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina throughout. Brass surfaces show natural oxidation, tarnish and areas of surface wear consistent with age and use. The fireplace screen is missing the handle on the left side panel; the corresponding handle remains on the opposite panel. Mesh, hinges and components present well overall. Andirons and fireplace tools show expected evidence of previous fireplace use. Please refer to photographs for additional condition details.
