Designed by Cini Boeri for Arflex in 1972, the Strips sofa is a landmark of 1970s Italian design — celebrated for its sculptural, low profile and its signature zip-off upholstery, which let owners remove the entire cover for washing like a garment. Equally at home as a sofa or a daybed, this example has been newly reupholstered in a blue Sunbrella fabric that closely echoes the original.
A rare, sourced-in-Italy piece for anyone building a serious vintage design collection.
