A charming Chinese porcelain brush pot (bitong) featuring a creamy, all-over crackle glaze. The cylindrical vessel is finely hand-painted in Famille Rose enamels with a traditional landscape scene, depicting a mountainous retreat with pavilions, trees, and small figures. The reverse side features black calligraphy and a red seal mark. The base bears a red six-character "Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi" (Made in the Guangxu Reign of the Great Qing) mark. A wonderful addition to a scholar's desk or as a decorative object.
