Details of the sculpture: Artist: Charles Anfrie (1833–1905), known for figures of children and young people, as well as for his Salon exhibitions in Paris. Subject: A barefoot, smiling boy in historical clothing (waistcoat and trousers) holding a spinning top in his left hand. The title "Elle ronfle" playfully alludes to the whirring sound of the spinning top. See less
