This vintage pattern was produced in fine parian china from 1955 to 1991, and features a heavily embossed, textured, ribbed surface modeled after a marine limpet shell. "Limpet Yellow" has a warm, translucent cream-colored porcelain body with a signature pale yellow luster or opalescent wash accenting the rims, interiors, and handles. Parian china (also referred to as “eggshell porcelain”) is delicate, lightweight, and famously translucent when held up to the light.
