This shelf is approximately 25 inches x 5.5 inches wide x 1 inch thick. The red oak Is colored with a stain called sea blue. It's an alcohol based stain. Finished with Minwax gloss Lacquer. The stain created a beautiful sea blue color on the summer wood and a black color on the spring wood grain. This series of scrap wood shelves feature a nice cove detail on the edge of the shelf edge. There are 2 wall mount clips routed into the back of the shelf at 16 inches apart so you can mount this shelf into a stud.

INSTILLATION REQUIRED Instillation is required and screws are not included. Purchase two #10 flat head Philips steel screws that are 3 inches or longer. You will need 2 screws. Mount to your wall making sure screws are 16 inches apart, level and approximately 1/4 away from the wall. The shelf shelf be tight to the wall with no sagging so adjust the screw with 1/8 turns until the shelf mates tight to the wall. Once the screws are set gently place the shelves wall brackets on mounting screws and push to the right until the shelve locks in. This is a wall decor item. See less
