Since virtually all kimonos are identical in fabric dimensions, they become canvases for art to be worn following certain strictures regarding color and design placement. This piece take artistic liberties with those norms to capture the simplicity of the kimono form -including the Obi- while using color and design that will be at home in today's residential and business environments.

The piece portrays the front of a kimono. The final firing purposely leaves the surface matte to be more true to a fabric. It is free-standing with a finished size of 8½”x6½”.

Each piece is titled, signed, and dated on the back. The attached metal support allows secure placement for your perfect presentation. See less
