Since virtually all kimonos are identical in fabric dimensions, they become canvases for art to be worn following certain strictures regarding color and design placement. These pieces take artistic liberties with those norms to create a piece that captures the simplicity of the kimono form while using color and texture. It will be at home in today's residential and business environments.

This piece represents the kimono form floated on a 12"x12" cradled wood panel then framed in a 1¼” deep wood frame with a finished size of 13¼"x13¼" square. The final firing purposely leaves the surface matte to be more true to a fabric.

The piece is titled, signed, and dated on the back. A metal French cleat and corner bumpers are attached for secure hanging and to insure the frame sits straight against the wall. Just install the included hanger on your wall for your perfect presentation. See less
