The table showcases the quintessential clean-lined, geometric styling associated with the American Mission movement. Its quarter-sawn oak construction is particularly noteworthy, revealing the distinctive ray-fleck pattern created by this specialized method of cutting oak. The solid oak construction continues throughout the piece, including the interior of the drawers with dovetail construction.

Robust and sturdy in construction, the table combines functional storage with the strong architectural lines characteristic of Mission furniture. Brass drawer pulls add a subtle decorative contrast to the warm oak, while the lower shelf provides additional display or storage space.
