Sockets: 1 x e27 standard bulb. (100 w max). Drop rod can be adjusted as required for greater or lesser drop. This light won the if design award in 1975. Information about peill & putzler: peill + putzler: glashüttenwerk peill und sohn was founded in 1903 in düren, a small town in west germany. Peill merged with putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947 as a glassworks and lighting company and became - peill & putzler glashüttenwerke -. The company always worked with important designers as wilhelm wagenfeld, william brown, helmut demary, aloys ferdinand gangkofner, horst tüselmann. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
