The composition showcases a richly colored pineapple and its flowering plant, accompanied by dramatic split-leaf tropical foliage and delicate studies of soursop and cherimoya fruits. Each specimen is carefully rendered in warm golden yellows, muted greens, soft browns, and earthy botanical tones, with handwritten-style scientific annotations along the lower margin.

The artwork is beautifully presented within a substantial dark wood frame featuring a rich, distressed finish, subtle carved detailing, and elegant antiqued gold accents. A wide ivory mat with an inset gilt border creates a sophisticated presentation that complements the artwork's classical botanical character.

The reverse retains its original Trowbridge label, with an image/frame reference number and a quality-control date of August 29, 2000.

A timeless decorative piece suited to traditional, British Colonial, coastal, tropical, and transitional interiors. Particularly appealing for a dining room, breakfast room, kitchen, library, or conservatory-inspired setting.
