The tray is further embellished with elaborate Rococo-inspired gilt-metal handles and rests upon an elegant black and gilt decorated stand, creating a wonderfully theatrical fusion of Chinese porcelain craftsmanship and European decorative taste. Bearing the distinctive crowned WL 1895 mark to the underside. A particularly decorative example of 中西合璧 (zhōng xī hé bì) — the harmonious combination of Chinese and Western styles — with its rich 宝蓝 (bǎo lán), or jewel-blue, ground beautifully contrasted by the gilded decoration. Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there may be some age and use related patina marks based on normal use and transport but to my eyes and hands it looks to be in near perfect condition Dimensions for the complete table Height: 57.5cm Width: 75cm Depth: 44cm Dimensions of the tray Height: 7cm Width: 75cm Depth: 44cm See less
