This sculptural wooden quilt stand was transformed from its original black finish through layers of hand applied sage, antique gold, ivory and subtle aqua. Carved foliage, turned columns, decorative finials and elegant scrolled feet have been individually highlighted by the artist, creating a piece that functions equally well as a textile display and decorative object.
