Paired here with a hand-pleated Le Klint-style shade, the lamp brings together two icons of Danish craft: sculptural art glass below, warm accordion-folded light above.

Michael Bang was one of Holmegaard's most inventive in-house designers, known for pushing the expressive, painterly qualities of glass — the "Sakura" series takes its name from the delicate, organic veining reminiscent of cherry blossom branches drifting through the glass. Set on a slender nickel stem, it's topped here with a Le Klint-inspired pleated shade, a hallmark of Danish lighting since the 1940s, softening the light into a warm, glowing spread rather than a direct beam.
