A turned wooden baluster-shaped floor lamp, patinated in warm brown tones. The stem features several rings and bands of aged brass, as well as a brass plaque engraved in cursive with the inscription 'Royal Adelaide 233', suggesting a hotel or maritime origin.
The wood, likely beech or walnut, shows traces of woodworm characteristic of early 20th-century pieces. The patinated brass socket is fitted with a side-mounted rotary switch, typical of electrical installations of that era.
The cylindrical lampshade in natural beige linen with a black rim is more recent and probably replaced the original. Wear and patina are consistent with the lamp's age.
Dimensions: total height 60 cm, base 15 x 15 cm, lampshade diameter 35 cm. Weight: 4 kg.
A distinctive piece for a classic decor, suitable for an office, living room, or bedroom. The electrical wiring is functional.
