painted in oil on a round-shaped canvas, characterized by a serene and evocative atmosphere typical of 19th-century landscape painting.

The composition features, in the foreground, an imposing tree with a lush canopy, the dominant element of the scene, alongside rich

vegetation with small flowers and shrubs and two birds.

In the background, a vast green countryside opens up, crossed by a path and punctuated by a few isolated trees. The landscape extends towards

a low and luminous horizon, beneath a clear and slightly cloudy sky.

The painterly execution favours natural and warm tones, with deep greens in the foreground gradually fading into more delicate colours.

The work recalls the tradition of French landscape painting and 19th-century Naturalist painting, in which the representation of nature plays a

central role. The artist focuses particular attention on light.

This is an antique painting; the work is unsigned, but bears a monogram with the painter's initials, B.D.

The painting is presented in an original and authentic gilt frame.

The antique frame and the painting have been professionally and carefully restored.
