This piece is distinguished by its faceted, contoured body, entirely hand-decorated with exceptionally fine floral and geometric motifs.
The hinged, finely ribbed lid is topped with an elegant original oval bone knob. The handle features classic, matching bone heat-insulating rings, designed to prevent heat from being transmitted during use.
The base bears the original factory hallmarks, the words EPBM (Electroplated Britannia Metal), and the model serial number 4343.
The item is in good condition, solid, clean, and complete with all its original parts. Being an authentic period piece, the surface displays a beautiful patina acquired over time and normal signs of wear.
There are some visible dents on the metal body (highlighted in the detailed photos), which attest to the piece's history and authenticity without compromising its charm.
The top knob has recently been stabilized by adding a structural reinforcement washer (visible only when the lid is open), ensuring perfect solidity and functionality in everyday use. The hinge works properly. See less
