Oak chest of drawers with five large drawers and double, shaped wooden handles. Made by Hylte, Sweden, 1960s. Original label present.
Made by Hylte in Sweden in the 1960s, this elm chest of drawers features a simple construction, punctuated by five large drawers and a tall base on square legs. The double, shaped handles discreetly follow the design of the fronts, while the warm wood tone highlights the oak grain. Originally, furniture of this type, called ritningsskåp in Swedish, was intended for storing drawings and plans, with wide, shallow drawers that allowed papers to be stored flat. The original "Hylte Ritningsskåp" label, with its address in Värnamo, is still present inside the cabinet, documenting its production and original purpose. Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
