The work relates to the poetry volume *Gedichte* by Peter Rühmkorf (published as *haltbar bis Ende 1999* / a special birthday edition).
The piece is characterized by an extraordinary, expressive line, a subtle color palette, and typographic elements typical of the artist's mature period in the 1970s. An inscription by the artist and a date stamp from 1979 (09.04.79) are visible at the bottom.
