Two teak chairs with a slender frame, featuring woven rope seats and slightly curved backrests. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
The teak frame of these two Scandinavian chairs from the 1960s is defined by continuous uprights that extend from the rear legs to the backrest, which ends with a wide, slightly curved crosspiece. The seat is made of densely woven rope, also worked along the edges of the frame, creating a pleasing textural contrast with the dark tone of the wood. The tapered legs and the construction of the backrest maintain the chairs' light profile, in keeping with a style common in Nordic furniture of the period, in which structural elements and natural materials remain clearly visible. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
