This panoramic print depicts with great finesse the activity at the Chantilly racecourse, showing the effervescence of high society at the time with its carriages, coaches, and riders.

Important international edition bearing the complete legal notices in the lower margin: Printed and published by the renowned firm Goupil & Cie on April 1, 1878 (Paris, London, The Hague).

Good overall condition: some scattered foxing is visible on the paper (mainly in the margins). The wooden frame shows signs of wear and tear.
