It features a beautifully architectured two-door front, topped by an overhanging molded cornice. The panels are adorned with traditional polychrome decoration consisting of stylized bouquets of flowers in shades of green, ochre, and red. The two painted names above the doors—Kasper Benenger and Irena Orzner (verified by a German language specialist)—serve as a reminder of the cabinet’s function as a wedding chest. The front also retains its original wrought-iron hardware and a pleasant patina that reflects its age. The interior features several shelves, providing ample storage space. A particularly practical feature: the cabinet consists of two separate sections that can be detached to facilitate transport and installation. Once joined, the two parts form a perfectly cohesive piece of furniture. An authentic and highly decorative piece, ideal for a bedroom, a large entryway, or an interior in a chalet, country chic, or contemporary rustic style. Very good condition. See less
