A pair of vintage Barovier & Toso table lamps, made in Murano in the 1950s. The brass structure forms a softly curved frame around the clear glass domes. The bases feature the same ribbed finish as the lampshades, with wavy edges reminiscent of flower petals.
The lamps have been completely restored. The electrical system and E14 lamp holders are new, while the brass has been cleaned of rust. All glass elements are intact.
Each lamp has a central light. Given the limited space inside the domes, small bulbs are recommended. They can be used as bedside lamps, bedside lamps, or table lamps. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
