A beautiful and sculptural lounge chair in the style of Franco Albini, Italy 1950s. Crafted from natural rattan and teak, the chair features a generous rounded form and an exceptionally light, open construction.
The distinctive fan-shaped arrangement of slender rattan canes forms the embracing backrest and sides, creating an elegant rhythmic pattern. The rattan shell rests on a sculptural teak base with four curved feet, adding a beautiful contrast in material and tone.
The chair comes with a newly made round seat cushion upholstered in soft off-white bouclé, complementing the warm natural tones while adding comfort and texture.
In very good vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina and minor traces of age and use. Structurally checked and ready to use. A particularly decorative example of Italian mid-century design. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
