An extremely rare, minimalist table lamp by hala - hannoversche lampenfabrik gmbh wehrkamp - richter & co., manufactured in the 1950s in a minimalist yet functional design.
the lamp is marked hala dbgm at the joint of the lampshade.
the lamp arm can be tilted at the base via a joint, and the lampshade can also be tilted at the joint. The lamp can also be used as a piano lamp, as its design allows for a very wide tilt range.
the minimalist base, made of sturdy brass tubing, is nickel-plated, and the rectangular steel lampshade is painted black.
the lamp has an e27 socket.
height 37 cm, maximum depth 35 cm
shade width 22 cm, depth 9 cm
base width 16.5 cm, depth 20 cm
the nickel plating at the joint shows significant signs of age (flaking, brass visible). The original black paint on the shade shows slight signs of age. The beige paint on the inside shows rust spots and has darkened in places. This piece has an attribution mark,
