Founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori at Doccia, near Florence, the Ginori manufactory became one of Italy’s great porcelain houses. In 1896, the historic Ginori works became the Richard Ginori ceramic company, combining centuries of Florentine porcelain-making with increasingly modern Italian design.
