The substantial square table features Goor's distinctive hand-worked iron/rebar construction, with four textured legs joined by an architectural X-form stretcher beneath a thick glass top. Two sculptural bronze birds provide a whimsical counterpoint to the raw, Brutalist iron framework.

A brass plaque on the base is signed “Goor” and numbered “1/100.” The combination of functional furniture and sculpture is characteristic of Ilana Goor's work.

The table has a particularly impressive scale at approximately 51" W × 51" D × 16.5" H, making it a strong statement piece for a large living room, loft, library or contemporary interior.

Condition: Very good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The iron base retains an aged patina with expected surface wear. The glass top is intact with normal vintage wear. Both bronze birds are present; they are currently detached from their original attachment points and are shown resting on the frame. They may be displayed as shown or professionally reattached if desired. Please review photographs closely, as they form part of the condition description. See less
