The intimate 5” × 7” composition depicts a rustic wooden tub overflowing with delicate white and pink blossoms, accented by small garden flowers and insects. The painting is signed J. Giepel at the lower right and retains the artist’s original identification label on the reverse.

Giepel is documented in period Oregon newspaper records as an exhibiting oil painter from Rainier in the late 1970s and 1980.

The small-scale painting is beautifully presented in an oversized carved wood frame with warm gilt tones, reddish-brown accents, and a cream linen liner. The layered frame gives the piece significant visual presence and a softly time-worn, collected character.

A lovely choice for a collected interior, cottagecore room, traditional gallery wall, English-country setting, or layered vintage décor.

Dimensions: Overall frame 14” × 12”; painting 5” × 7”.
