Decorative ornithological print by Natural Curiosities depicting the exotic bird titled “Abba Gumba,” adapted from imagery associated with Bruce’s Travels.
Rendered in muted blue-gray, charcoal, brown and olive tones, the bird is shown perched on a dramatically twisting branch surrounded by foliage. The aged paper appearance, hand-colored look and restrained palette give the work the character of an early natural-history illustration.
The sheet bears the Natural Curiosities embossed studio mark at the lower right and is float-mounted against a neutral linen-textured backing under glass. Presented in a dark faux-bamboo frame that complements the historic botanical and ornithological subject.
Size: 25.5" W × 33.5" H framed.
