This antique Jackpot cylinder music box from the 19th century features a finely carved oak case with intricate foliate designs. The top lid is fitted with a textured glass panel, revealing the internal mechanism. The music box includes a Jacot's Patented Safety Check, dated September 22, 1886. Further patent dates are visible, including September 22, 1885, December 6, 1887, and May 8, 1888, along with German patent numbers D.R.P. 33516 and 43585. The mechanism includes a play/stop lever and a dial for selecting between 10 tunes, with options to change or repeat. The winding crank is present on the side.
